My group yoga classes are fun, nurturing, relaxing and invigorating. I draw my inspiration from my background in dance as well as various forms of yoga and martial arts. I encourage my students to work with the pranic (energetic) and mental/emotional and spiritual levels as well as the physical, so that the experience is truly one of yoga, which translated into English means “union”.
My classes have a steady pace (on the slower side) with a focus on grounding, stabilizing, core strength and optimal alignment. I like to balance longer-held postures with opportunities to move more fluidly with the breath.
All levels of ability are welcome and encouraged.
